O1 visa

I just got my O1 visa approved. Because my schedule is so tight in States that I don't have time to fly to my own country Taiwan to get my visa (DS-156) done. And in November I have to perform in a competition in Paris, do you think they will issue me the visa in Paris, or should I go to Canada since it's closer? What documents should I prepare if I go? Thanks!

sorry for using your querry to counter-question. do you know how stringest o1 visa is?? I also need to get o1 visa but apparently some lawyers feel that it is very difficult for me.

I got a job in a company that has 25 - 100 employees and want to apply for o1 through them. I have a foreign ph.d and a couple of papers and more than 10 citations. if it is not too much trouble can you please tell me how good my chances are? Thanx.
