Cross border Canada to US

Hi friends, just need to get clarification, I'm holding a tourist visa in Canada right now and got an employer. They have filed for application at the Canadian Consulate in Seattle, I have an interview date at the Canadian Consulate in Seattle on December, but don't have visa entering US. Do you think my interview will be a valid reason/would they allow me to apply US VISA to cross the border just for the purpose of my interview? I have a legal document to show at the border that I'll be attending an interview.

Where are you initially from? What application have they filed at the seattle consulate and how come they filed at seattle consulate?

I came from the Philippines, they filed at Seattle under Live in Caregiver Program because that's the fastest way that they could hire me,also I have been to US specifically in Seattle before many times already but wasn't able to renew a visa because this application is not in my plan, it just so happen that an opportunity came to me during my vacation stay in Canada so I grab it. Do you think its really possible?
Because if i'll be process in the Philippines it will take 3 years and my future employer don't want to wait that long.

on what visa? When did it expire?

Last time I went there is year 2003, Actually until now I still have a multiple US visa valid until 2006 but with anotation with my previous employer, but my previous employer did'nt cancelled it since I've been loyal to them for 20 years. But I believe I can't use that US visa,am I right? Sol I need to apply on my own.

Oh I forgot, in US my multiple visa is a non immigrant visa.

You do not give all the information. Please tell me one last thing;
What is the type of non-immigrant US visa you have (like B,H,J etc.)
And when did you stop working for your last employer in the US?

Oh sorry about that. Anyway the full information, I'm really based in the Philippines and my previous employer travels a lot that's why I need to have a visa and with anotation with him, I am just holding a tourist visa/non immigrant visa in US. My future employer use my seattle address because that's the house/address of my prevoius employer everytime we have a trip in the US.

Ok, now I understand. I wanted to see if you could travel on
the same visa because it is still valid. It may depend on the annotation
on the visa. What is the annotation? Can you write here?

Thanks again, anonation in the lower part of my visa is " to be accompanied by _______________ ( name of my previuos Employer )

So, that is it. You cannot use the old visa alone.
Go ahead and apply for the US visa for the new canada job.
There are no guarantees for a visitor visa; sometimes you can get it
and other times you cannot. If it is very important for you , cosult
an immigration attorney before applying.
