Hi there,
My company has applied for an extension of my H1B (premium processing) and I am waiting for approval from the USCIS. In the meantime, I would like to book my visa appointment date . In order to pay the visa fee and book a date, the website requires one to create a profile and fill in details about the petition like the "start date and expiration date of your petition". I do not have the start and expiration date with me since I have not received approval yet. Can I go ahead and book the appointment with tentative dates and change these later once I get approval or do I absolutely need to have the approval with me before booking the visa appointment?
