  • pregnancy after residence visa approved

    Hello!!

Please I need help.. My sister's residence visa got approved but after that ,she found out that she is pregnant and now she is living our country this week, someone told us that there is going to be a problem in migration here and they will probably won't let her enter to USA because of the new pregnancy.. do you know if anything of this is true??

    Thanks a lot!!

Does she have her visa already? How many months pregnant is she?

The airline may not let her board if she looks like she is about to deliver (7-9 months along).

Other than that, her pregnancy is no a barrier to immigration. Tell your "someone" to stop talking nonsense.

Hi Ray, thanks for your help.. But yes, her visa got approved 2 months ago and she found out that she was pregnant last week, the doctor said that she is 5 weeks away.

      Thanks again.

If your sister is allowed to board the plane (doesn't look as if she presents a health risk), she will be okay. She should not volunteer to any airline staff that she is pregnant, as that will give someone a reason to not let her board because of health risk potential.
