Hello guys,
i am new here. and i am in need of help filling up with I-130 form.... let me give you guys a little background about myself. i am a us citizen. i came into this country when i was young, and i guess i received my citizenship through my parents. now at the age 29, i gotten married. ( kudos to the equality marriage) .
my wife resides in ny for the past 13 years. she has a R visa, (type/class) G1. i am not quite sure what that mean. please someone explain it to me just to be clear. anyways, she obtained that from her father who worked for united nation, and i guess my wife got it through being diplomat.. i was able to fill up the form I-130 up until line 14 on B information part. " IF YOU ARE A LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIEN, COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING: date and place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permanent residence and class of admission". my question is, does that apply to me? what do i put? and if i don't have to put anything, what do i put?...
also on the same B information about you- if i never been married what do i put? do i put none? and what do i put on the date marriage end?
okay, so on the C information about your relative part- how do i answer number 14. ( if your relative is currently in the u.s. complete the following: he or she arrived as a ( visitor, student, stowaway, without inspection, etc). I'm guessing this information is about her. like i said, she got her through her dad being in the United nation, and she has a R visa with a G1 class/type visa. when my wife came to the united states, she said she never got any interview, no medical review. basically, when she was still in the philippines, she told her dad she wants to go to the states, next week later, she was going to the states. thats how quick it was.
I know this might be all over the place, if you're able to understand how i describe it and can put a light on my situation, please please let me know. i would love to do this myself because going through lawyer fees cost me so much, and the fees already is a lot. I'm just a hardworking person trying to have my wife legally right. thanks guys
