    Complicated Situation-O1 visa

    Hi,

    I am in HR and have an employee getting on board with an O-1 visa. This employee is currently on leave of absence from another company in the HK. Is it legal for him to come to the US without starting with our company right away? Can he hang around until he officially ends the relation with his current employer?
