01 visa interview

My O1 visa petition has been approved and I have an appointment at the American council for the visa stamp.
I have no idea what happens in the interview and am worried
Has anyone here gone for a 01 interview? and if so what kind of questions were you asked etc? Thank you!

Hi,
I think that you should ask a lawyer about that, because it all depends on your case and your situation.
I'm going through the same process as you (O1B), even though I still didn't get an answer. But my immigration attorney told me that this interview is going to be very important and it needs to be well prepared.
Let us know how your interview went.
By the way, I'm wondering how long it took for you to get your approval, as USCIS received my cas on June 22nd and I still don't have heard from them even though I paid the premium fee...

Have you heard anything? I have been waiting for almost two months and there doesn't seem to be any end in sight I would love to hear what anyone else's experience might be

Well apparently there was a glitch in the immigration system last June and it lasted more than a week...They're still clearing up the backlog (or at least that's what they said to my lawyer).

I'm sorry...Was it their way to get more time so they delayed your visa with a RFE? What kind of visa/job was it? Did you get a lawyer to do the whole application?

Yes I have a lawyer applying as a clothing designer I'm very upset RFE are not good signs have you heard anything?

No, still nothing...
I also hired a lawyer (in LA) and I'm still waiting...I'm a chef (french and japanese fusion cuisine).

Also I got a friend who just received a RFE; I'm just wondering if USCIS is sending those because they're swamped right now, and giving a RFE is a good way to make up time...?

Yeah, I don't know it's very stressful my RFE was very long what does your friend do?
