F1 visa extension needed / possible?
Hello!
I received my F1 student visa in July this year.
Unfortunately I was unable to travel to US and my university is ready to issue a new I-20 for January (next year).
As there will be a gap of ***over six months*** between the visa date and my travel date I am not sure if it is allowed?
Is there a way I can request an extension or the delay is OK as I have a five year visa?
Please advise.
