My fiancée and I are planning on marrying in the next 2 weeks, whilst I am in the US, however her family have concerns that our application wouldn't be granted on the grounds that she doesn't earn enough to support both of us.
She earns around $1500 per month, which falls marginally short of the annual 125% poverty guidelines ( http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/f...orm/i-864p.pdf ) for a two person household.
I have a large sum of money that I would be transferring from England to the US to support both myself and my fiancée, so would the above concerns be sufficient for the application to be rejected?
