I work for a U.S based company in Canada . As I am located close to the border and our head office ( in U.S ) wants me to build new business on the States side. There are no other reps near the territory . The closest one is probably 1800-2000 miles away. Our products require us to have special training . I see many companies use a B1 which I am not sure this is the correct approach in my case. I am told by another party that the company needs to complete an I-129 on my behalf . It is understood there will be an interview for either application , to avoid , having to re-do , or be refused because of having the wrong form or applying for the wrong visa. What is the visa I need to apply for / or my company needs to apply for in my case ?
