I-30 process time

Hi Everyone, I was wondering what the normal process time is for getting an approval notice for an I-30 form. I received in the mail that it was received on Jan 15, 2016. Is normal time for process 5 months and does date start counting when it was received. I did check status on it and it says it was reviewed on Jan 26, 2016. This is where I'm confused, I am petitioning for my wife who is Singaporean and I am a u.s. Citizen. Would appreciate if anyone could answer my questions.
