am just new here. I want to know about I864 affidavit of support. I just came from the Philippines I stayed there since I was 18 year old I am now 32 am a u.s citizens and got married 12/29/14 I have never had a job or filed a tax form am planning to petition my wife will I need a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support since I had never job or filed a tax return here in the u.s? I hope you guys can answer my questions? thanks

since you didnt have file tax or didnt have income tax for sponsor. Therefore, you need someone else tax (for sponsor income) so on the paper if you dont have income tax you also need to a letter to explain why??
