Hello all,
I am Brazilian-Italian (dual citizenship) and was living in the US for 8 years until I moved to Italy and then Spain where I currently reside.
For my first 4 years in the US, I was in college and under the F1 visa. After that, I moved to the tip of the Sunshine State where I worked for 4 years with the OPT & consequently H1-B visa. Right before I left the US to move to Italy, I was able get the extension on my H1B visa for 2 more years (expires November 2016).
I am planning a trip to the US in 1 month from today and would like to know if I should try to go through immigration with:
1. My H1B visa, even though I haven't worked in the US since Dec 2014.
2. My Italian Passport (exp Jan 2017), applying for the ESTA.
Please let me know as I don't want to end up like Tom Hanks in "The Terminal".
Thanks !
