  • U visa, Marriage Visa, fabricated evidence... HELP!!!!

    HELP!!!!!!!

I married my US citizen fiancee in the UK last December.

She had applied for her marriage visa through the New York Embassy and UK Visas.

I prepared 95% of the package for the visa application, and sent it to her via UPS in the USA.

My fiancee then inserted some documents I had no access to, these included: proof that we had a residence in the USA for when we moved over after three days of marriage. She supplied a "lifetime lease for a log cabin in the East Mountains of Albuquerque" which her parents (I was told - and confirmed in emails etc) had given us as a wedding present. the "lease" part of the phrase was to cover the cost of utilities at the cabin and the document clearly stated there was no rent due from us for the term of the lease - this was deemed a "lifetime lease"

My Fiancee supplied this to the embassy and her visa was granted.

We married in Sheffield in December last, and moved out to the USA three days afterwards to start our "new life".

Now we are divorcing following her abusive and violent behavior, (which although known to her and her family was hidden from me by all who knew her). It became known that the property / lease we were given is for a property that has had no planning permission (or similar in the USA) and no taxes have been paid nor notifications of this residence appear in the local council records, meaning it is an illegal residence and the lease my fiancee supplied was a fabrication.

So, the abuse occurred between January and September this year and I am now preparing an application for a 'U visa' under the domestic violence / VAWA act although I am a male victim...

However, after meeting with an attorney today to discuss the divorce etc, it has become apparent that my fiancee also lied about having any previous marriages.

She informed me, and the marriage team in the registry office that she had no previous marriages.

Today we have found she had one definite prior marriage - dissolved in 2008 and two probable prior marriages (one dissolved in 1998 and the other in 2014). Neither of these marriages were known to me, nor did she report or record them with the superintendent registrar in Sheffield prior to our marriage.

With the above detail, does anyone have any clue about my status, U visa or if I actually entered the USA legally without knowledge of the lies my fiancee told me / immigration services in the UK and USA?
