Hi,
I am a British citizen and I came to the USA last year as an au-pair. At the end of my stay I wanted to go travelling so I applied for a change of visa to B-2 tourist for 3 months. I have since started a short course at a college which would require me to stay an extra 2 months beyond the original 3 month extension. I know I can apply for another extension but i am still waiting for my first change of status/extension of stay application to be accepted. What can I do??? Please help!
(I am currently in "Legal Status" pending a decision on my application but my au-pair, J-1, visa is now expired)
