Hello all,
Me and my spouse are in the process of applying for an O1/O3 visa.
I was wondering whether someone has any recent experience with O1. Although each case is different how hard/easy can it be or what common obstacles may show up? Briefly, I got a PhD, quite a few publications (19, citations 300+), coauthorship in a chapter of a big assessment in my field, an awarded research grant, and a very good collection of support letters.
Now most importantly my wife is in the process of figuring out what she could do while on O-3. My understanding is that she cannot work but she can study (which she already does but she?s almost done with it). The other option is volunteering. Are there any other useful suggestions for an O-3 visa or someone with experience in such situation?
