I am an F1 visa holder completed my first masters degree, currently working on my stem OPT and my OPT expires by Oct 2019. I recently got married to a GC holder she can get citizenship only by 2021, so instead of waiting for her to get converted to citizen, I already filed for my GC and my priority date is June 2018. As per the visa bulletin final action dates are almost 2 years behind so probably my priority date will become current by 2020.
Note:
My employer already filed for my H1b for the past 2 years and it was not picked in lottery, I still have one more attempt in April 2019 which my employer will apply for. But in worst case if the last attempt also fails
My question here is,
Since my OPT expires by Oct 2019, if i want to stay in US till i get my GC approved, can i enroll for a second masters degree? or will there be any problem for my GC approval because of enrolling on second masters?
Please advice. Thanks in advance for your suggestion.
