Help!!!....last piece of the puzzle before filing!!

Hi,

my wife is my sponsor on the I-864 form. She was a student this past couple of years but now has a full time job where she earns well over the income requirement. My question is does she need to have earned above the income requirement for the past 3 years or is it just this year that counts?? If so would it be safer to also include my income to meet these requirements??
