Hi there,
My wife is admitted by a school and she needs to change visa status from H-4 to F-1 in order to receive the assistantship. But I already filed I-140 one month ago. In the form I-539 attachment there is a question about immigration application, since her name does show up in my I-140, will a "Yes" answer affect her F-1 application? We really need the assistantship to offset the education cost.
