    I-94 after marriage

    I am a Japanese citizen and my I-94 expires on Feb 28 2009. I got married in California in January and just submitted the I-485 package on 20 Feb 2009. Do I need to request an extension of the I-94? If yes, what is the process? If no, what is my status after 28 Feb 2009 and will I be able to travel to and from NC after 28 Feb 2009?
