I was born in Kenya. My dad was born in Gujerat, then immigrated to Kenya. He is now deceased. He was a citizen of Kenya when he passed away. However, I have his original passport ( subsequently canceled upon renewal) issued by the British in India dated around 1942. This passport shows his birthplace and date, as well as his then current address in India. My mom was born in Africa. Any suggestions as to whether to apply for a PIO or OCI card. I used to be a Kenya citizen before I became a US citizen. Thanks in advance.
