L2 Visa EAD EXPIRY ?

Hi,

I am on L2 EAD valid till Dec 2010. I recently heard that if I go to India and come back my EAD will be invalid and have apply again if I want to work here. Is it true?
Should I then Reapply For an EAD again !

Not true as long as you return on L2 status.
