I'll be travelling back and forth to Kolkata around December January for the Christmas holidays. I have a student's residence permit from the French Prefecture authorities and it's writtten in French? Would there be a problem with Indian immigration authorities while checking out of Kolkata Airport i they don't understand what's written on the card?
I'm returning home after a long time for the holidays and will then come back to France to finish my studies. The french authorities don't issue a long-stay of 5 years like the Uk or Usa but they issue temporary residence permits of one -year validity renewable every year. The only time the visa is issued is during the very first entry into the country for 3 months and then one has to apply for a temporary residence permit for the duration of stay.
Please advise me
