Hello there! Need help for H1B change to F1.
I got my first time H1B visa but was laid off before I start the job unemployed right now. I called the USCIS and conformed that my status is H1B. I am enrolling to a master program and got accepted. Can I apply F1 from H1B OR I have to file visa change from H1B back to my H4 and then apply F1 from H4? Again my question is ---before F1 approval, can I go to school with H1B visa--I know for sure that I can go to school with H4 visa while F1 application is pending.
