Missing applicant on IV bill

hello All,
I just receive IV fee bill from NVC and there was missing child on the list of beneficiary. I called NVC this morning and I was told that the child that missing on the list is currently can't be determined by NVC if she elligible for the visa application at this time. She will be determined at the interview appointment if she is elligible. What should I do? I can't wait until the appointment and if she is denied. She is only 9 years old and can't be left there alone. Is there any chance that she will be denied at the appointment? I asked the representative at NVC if they need any addtional infomation about her at this time and they said no. Please let me know if anyone familiar with this situation and what shoud I do.

Never mind, I just called NVC back today and this time they explained to me that there was an error on the child birthday and based on the birthday they have on file, she is over 21 and that why they denied her visa. Now I need to make the correction for her birthday.
