H1B Amendment under RFE and Extension Applied

Hi,

I have a pending RFE against H1B amendment for a location change. The response to the RFE was submitted to USCIS last month. My current H1B visa is expiring in August 2019 and the application for an extension will be applied by my current employer soon under Premium Processing.
My questions -

• How/ Will the current RFE against the amendment affect or have any implications on the extension application?
• Is there a possibility that the RFE will still be pending and H1B extension be approved by USCIS?
• When will it be safe to travel outside of US as I have an urgent need to visit India next month.
