questions about proper visa to apply and what to do

I am usa citizen living in Thailand on retirement visa I am getting married in july and want to get my wife a visa
we want to visit America when we want and live in Thailand permantly but be able to visit America as we choose

we don't have to have a green card and we don't work as I am retired and pay all the bills

what visa should we get and how can we just come and go as we please

The appropriate visa would be a B2 visitor visa since she does not intend to immigrate to the US. There is a big chance of denial as she is married to a US citizen, but there is no other alternative.
