I started an I-130 application about 13 years ago. Seems they couldn't get a hold of me so they reopened the case with a February 2019 date. Now I see how slow they go as they put me back on the bottom of the pile. But now my question is looking at the processing times on the website why do permanent residents have priority over US citizens? It currently shows permanent residents are 5 months ahead on processing. Who knows each month of processing could take a year i guess. Thanks!
