2011dvselectee needs urgent advise

initially when i filled the ds-230 form i thought that a petitioner was needed only by non DV immigration applicants like family sponsored and work based immigration. now i find out a few weeks to my interview that even DV applicants need a petitioner/sponsor who has to fill the i-134 form. iv got a sponsor now but wont it look bad if i show up at the interview claiming a sponsor when in my initial application forms i didnt have one.
pls someone advise me
