Hi everyone, here is my case.
It is pretty complicated and confusing, therefore I really appreciate only professional and proven comments or answers, if you don't know what to write down, please do not bother to do so.
First of all sorry for my poor english; I'm an Italian waiter and music RnB producer (actually the last one is just a serious hobby), and in November 2008 I started working as waiter in World Disney World, FL. I obtained a Q1 visa, with whom I was allowed to stay in the US for 15 months and/or as long as I was working for WDW.
After 3 months, in February 2009, I decided to quit the job because I wanted to travel more in the US (I know, I shouldn't). This is how I ended up living first in Clearwater beach FL for few months, then in San Diego CA for the rest of the Visa. In both the places I worked legally for Italian restaurants. In December 2009, 2 months before the expiration of my Visa, I came back to Italy.
In March 2010 I received another job opportunity, this time with an American Cruise Line Company, always as waiter. So I went back to the Embassy to request a C1/D Visa. I partially lied about the previous year, but (I guess) the info about my social security arrived to the embassy, and they initially denied my Visa because I worked for more then one employer. Then, since I didn't do anything wrong but working, they granted me the C1/D Visa and the related B1/B2 Visa that gives me the chance to visit the US ports until March 2011. They also gave me a paper where is told I'm not allowed to work in the US for 3 years.
I'm almost done with my cruise line contract, and I received another job opportunity. This time is it's from an American RnB artist, who had listened to my music and wants to start a cooperation.
If he starts a petition on my behalf, do I have any chance to get a new Visa and get back at work in the US? Or do I really have to wait 2 more years with the real possibility to see the deal dropped down?
Again, sorry for my bad English, I hope I've been clear enough.
Waiting for questions, answers, recommendations, thanks to everybody!!!
