Hello. We had filed for an immigration petition for my in-laws and it was approved. But, they decided that they did not want to go ahead with it. So, we did not take appointment for the consular interview. At this point, their 10-year tourist visa is expiring soon, so we are considering filing for renewing their tourist via. Can you please suggest if there is going to be an issue going for tourist via, since we had previously filed for immigration. What is the best course of action to enable them to travel for meeting and staying with us in USA?
