I have a girlfriend in Ukraine and I am very adament about getting her here to the states with me. I am not that serious to file the K-1/marriage visa yet. I wanted to get her a simple tourist visa but was told by many not to even try, too difficult to obtain.
bottom line: I want her here with me in the states, whether it is a few months or for a year or two.
Background on her: 20 years old, student at university, no job, NO family in USA, so no flight risk, all family back in Ukraine
I was told to go and hire an immigration attorney and pay the $1,000+ fee and they will find a way to get her here.
I AM LOOKING FOR ANY AND ALL ADVICE ON THIS MATTER!!!
