Change job on R1

I came to the US from India on R1 along with my wife on R2 in January this year. Please let me know the process if I decide to change my employer and work for another organization who is willing to sponsor my R1. Can we file for another R1 petition while staying in the country? Or do we have to go back to India and apply for a visa again?

Would really appreciate a correct response.

about changing employer

brother i suddenly see your post today, i think your query is solved till now but according to me you have to collect required documents from your new organisation, and have to take permission from uscis,then you will change your employer. if it is right them good, but if you do in another way,then share your experience.
