I have a friend who is from Kenya, and is currently in Kenya with his Fiance(who is an American citizen). He has a R-1 visa to the US that expires in June 2007. She will be back in the states this month, they want to get married in May. What is the best step for him? Is it okay for him to come in on his R-1 and get married? They want to go back to Kenya within 6-8 months after their married, is that possible? Thank for any help you can give.
