Just wanted to ask a question regarding the immigration situation me and my wife are facing right now.
I am on green-card for 3 years and my wife had an R-1 visa and her I-94 is expiring in August this year, we got married in Sept 2010 and I applied for her immigration (filed I-130) in October 2010, but I checked the visa bulletin and according to that there is going to be over a year of wait before a visa number becomes available for her, I'm expecting I-130 to get approved by next month and I would file I-485 as soon as I get the notice.
So my concern is that if can my wife get a Tourist visa while she awaits her I-485 to get approved? Or is there any other way?
I would be very glad if I get help.
