This is Anurag. I have done my Masters in Computer Science and graduated in May 2012 . My OPT started on July 2nd. In OPT, we are supposed to get a job within 3 months. I got a job on August 20th but I did not know that I had to inform my university advisor. So I came to know recently and informed on November 20th. My advisor told that since I informed late i.e after 3 months, I might have to face a problem in the future even though my offer letter states that my joining date is August 20th. I want to know whether this would cause any problem in the future for OPT extension or H1B? Would be really grateful if someone answers this question. Thanks!
