Hi,
I applied first time for US Visa today.
I had admission in 3 universities.
University of Michigan, East Lansing. ( Master of Arts in Journalism)- 2years
University of Missouri, Columbia. ( Master of Arts in Journalism, Major in Advertising.)- 2years
Northwestern University. ( Integrated Marketing & Communcation.)- 15 months
I selected Northwestern and applied with the I20. The fees shown in I20 was 90,000 dollars. I showed my parents funds, my sister as a second sponsor and a loan amount of 30, 000 dollars. My sister is a permanent resident in Missouri, USA.
I was rejected saying, I am using up my parents funds, my sisters funds and a loan and hence I was stay back in USA to earn the money. I did say confidently that I would come back to INDIA and I had done my research on the salaries and the posts in INDIA that I would get after this course and I mentioned all that. But the counsellor was not conviced.. and I was rejected on 214B.(intent to immigrate).
I am planning to apply for the second time with my University of Missouri Columbia I20. CAn anyone help me?
Is there a good chance? Will they reject because I am reapplying with a different university I20? Will they reject me because my university is in the same state where my sister lives?
Please help me . This is urgent , MY course begind August 15th.
