F2 visa on F1 Pre-completion OPT

I am on F1 pre-opt still in school working for a company to gain some experience for my Masters degree. I am getting married next month and want to get my wife with me on F2 visa. My F1 pre-opt is expiring by the end of April 2013 and my I20 is expiring on Aug 2013. My F1 visa is valid till 2015.
Please guide me through so that I can get my wife in US with me on F2. How much I have to show in my bank account in US and best way to get my wife in US after marriage in Feb 2013.

You will need to obtain dependent I-20 from your school and they will tell you how much funds you need to show. Apart from that, your wife will have to show ties to home country such as property, family or job. She should be confident and have convincing, truthful answers.

Thanks for your reply. She is not working right now and she doesn't have any property on her name as well. So, that might be a problem.
What if she and her family applies for B2 together and she alone comes on that. And after she enter here on B2 visa, I apply for her F2 or H4. This idea was suggested by some of my friend. I need to confirm it here as well.

B2 also required strong ties to home country. If the intent is to live with you, it is better to apply for F2 than B2.
