F2 to F1 COS: Financial statement query

Hi,

I arrived on F2 visa in August, 2012 and now have decided to pursue studies. I have been admitted in one of the local universities and plan to file COS for the same. My course duration is 16 months.

My query is, do I have to show financial statement for the amount listed in the i20 or the entire course duration?
