I have a 2 year F1 visa that expires in May 2013. I have completed my course (Dec 2012) and have a job offer now. I have applied for my EAD card (Start date 4th Feb 2013) and have received a mail saying that my card has been sent for printing.
I am planning on going to India after I receive the EAD card in my hand for 2 weeks before I start working. I plan on returning back by the 3rd of Feb. Will there be any issues when I return back? As in will the immigration officer ask me why I am entering back even though I have completed my course etc.
I have all the documents:
1. I-20 Signed with the OPT recommendation
2. EAD Card
3. Job Offer Letter
