Are we allowed to take up on-campus jobs in the summer(not registered for the fall)?

I have a job that is considered on-campus and related to my major. I want to continue into the position in the summer(and make it full-time) too. I won't be registered for the Fall since I graduate in the Summer. So does this mean that I would have to apply for pre-completion OPT to work in the Summer? Any other options here?

Also, I am currently working on my thesis(registered for research class), can I do a full-time on-campus job?

No, I will NOT be registered in the summer. But, I graduate at the end of Summer(on August 25), so can I still apply for OPT(pre-completion I believe?). Also, will this be full-time(for the month of june, july, august)?
I asked my School and they said they need time to check about on-campus job authorization.
