DS 160 for F2

Hi,

I have created DS 160 applications and booked F1 visa interview dates for me, my wife and daughter more than 30 days ago. When I went back to fill-out the application, I could only finish my and my wife's applications. I could not retrieve my daughter's application. The system did accept the DS 160 id but returned "surname and year of birth do not match". After this message, I have searched through FAQ's and come to know that the system keeps the DS 160 for only 30 days. Unfortunately, I did not saved the application.

I wonder is there anyway to retrieve the application or I have to start a new application. If, I start a new application, do I need to pay the visa interview fee again. Please advice me in this regard.

You don't need to pay the fees again. Just start a new application.

Call the document service that processes (VFS or US Travel Docs etc.) Visa applications in your country.
