F2 Visa - 221(g) white slip
I am on F-1 OPT working on contract for E-verified company.My OPT will expire in June 2013 and I will be applying H1 in april-2013.
I got married 2 weeks back.My wife appeared for F-2 Visa interview last week and was handed 221(g) white slip and asking for
additional doc's and submitted the documents same day.Usually how many days it takes to resolve this kind of issues and what are the
chances of getting approval ? I am worried if they do not resolve her case before april than there wil be chance of rejection because
my status will be changed from F1 to H1.
* Can anyone tell me if I can apply for B2 Visa after my H1 approval for my wife. As far as I know she can get H4 but cannot travel to
US before September 1, 2013 so she has to wait for 6-7 months and I want her to be with me ASAP.
