F1 Visa renewal under administrative processing since 2 months

Hi All,
I applied for Visa renewal on 3rd Jan through IWP. However, on 6th Jan I noticed that my case was put under administrative processing. I was asked for additional documents which I submitted on 30 Jan. Till date they have not updated the status on CEAC website. IT still shows my case to be under administrative processing. I am currently a full time enrolled student. I have already missed half of the semester. I really don't know what to do.

Has anyone had similar experience before ?. This is really frustrating because it was just a renewal and I received the previous visa without any trouble.

I ll really appreciate any guidance/advice...

Unfortunately there is no way to predict how long it will take. It has been 1 month since you submitted the docs and it can take anywhere between a few weeks to a few months.

I hope the school is legitimate. I don't see why F-1 visa renewals would be denied.
