h4 to f1 with different i94

Hi i applied for change of status on jan 9. But, in feb i went to india for 2 weeks due to family emergency. Today i got a reference saying that i need to sign on i20. My question is will my f1 get rejected because my i94 is different.In case if my f1 get approved wht are the next steps. Please help me .

When you send the signed I-20, also send them a copy of the new I-94 (both sides) and a letter explaining how you got the new I-94.
