F-1, then H1-B..and now F-1 again
Brief background of my Visa status since 2008: I completed a masters degree from a highly ranked university from 2008 to 2010 (August) and have been working at a consulting firm from Nov 2010 till date. I used about 24 months of my OPT (12 regular+ 12 months of the extended period) and have been on H1B since Oct 2012.
Few months back I applied for a second masters at the same university (but in a different program) and have successfully received an admit for Fall 2013.
I plan to leave my current job next month and then stay in India from June to August this year before starting school. How difficult will it be to get a second F1 visa and what are the procedures/precautions in should follow/keep in mind? Is it safe to let my H1B status be revoked (once I quit my job) and start a fresh application for an F1?
