Schengen's Visa Fee

I have a doubt regarding Schengen´s visa fee. I'm going for one year to Germany as part of her university program (studying purpose). I will be matriculated in a German university for that year. Looking at fees in your website, it says that for adults the cost fee is 60 EUR. In the next paragraph it says that there is no fee for students. Is this term applying for her?

I'm Mexican and the university where i'm making my degree has an agreement with the DAAD (German Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst).
