Going for F1 stamping after change of status to F1 approved

Hello,

I joined my school in spring 2013 on H4. I changed my status to F1 in March2013.

I am planning to go to India for F1 stamping in July.
What you guys suggest, should I take that risk.

What are my chances of approval or denial

If you are studying in a genuine school wit genuine intentions, I see no problem.

You will need to show evidence of your ties to your home country. Having family, property, job etc. in your home country helps. Being in a good reputed school and program helps. Having the necessary funding readily available also helps.
