hi all
i received my f1 visa today. on the visa there are no arrival dates noted ( except for issue and expiration) . attached to the passport is the original i20 with which i applied dated: 29.8
my school just sent me a new i20 dated to the 22.8 since i need to begin earlier than expected.
do you know whether im even required to update the visa with the new i20 sent? or can i just arrive to the u.s with the new i20 ? (supposedly the i2o is the only document that indicates entry dates- on the other hand- this details might appear in the system - i have no idea)
any thoughts??
