need urgent advice

Hi all,

I am here in the US on and H4 visa status but now I have been given apporval of F1 from the INS. I need to go home to India in Dec and I would have to get my visa stamped there upon my return.

However, the problem is that my parents who were residing in mumbai at the time of issue of the passport have now moved to delhi. My question is that is it possible for me to get my visa stamped in delhi instead of mumbai? my passport has the address of mumbai.

Please help me out as soon as possible.

I guess you can apply at Delhi Consulate for the Visa stamping Only things u need to take care of are Parents current address in some form of documentation Like bank statements, voter card or ration card these are just an examples i am thinking at the top of my head.

If possible ask the nearest passport office if they can issuse a new one with the current address.
